What would happen if you lost your face? Could face transplants be the answer? And if face transplants are to happen, what needs to be done to make them more sustainable and patient-centred? Our infocomic tackles these big questions, give it a read below and tell us what you think!
This infocomic summarises the findings of our 3-day ‘Policy Lab’ held with King’s Policy Institute in December 2021. The Lab brought together for the first time a group of leading clinicians, ethicists, psychologists, policymakers, and qualitative researchers to discuss how to make face transplants more sustainable. You can read and download the resulting Blueprint for Sustainable Face Transplant Policy and Practice from our website. If you would like to download a copy of the infocomic, you can do so here.
